Fish Curry

Kerala Fish Curry


1. Fish  (Any small fish)         : 500 gram

2. Small Onion                      : 10-15 No.s

3. Garlic                               : 10 No.s ( Ally)

4. Ginger                              : 1 Piece

5. Green Chilly                     : 2 or 3 No.s

6. Kudampuly                       : 5 or 6 No.s

7. Red Chilly Powder           : 3 or 4 Tablespoon

8. Turmeric Powder             : 1/2 Tablespoon

9. Curry leaves                    : few

10. Salt                               : Required quantity

11. Coconut Oil                  : 3 or 4 Tablespoon

Cooking Method:
                             
                                              Clean the Fish and cut it into medium size.Put Kudampuly in 1/2 cup of water to make into smooth. Cut Small Onion, Ginger,Garlic and Green chillies into small pieces and fry it by adding 3 tablespoon coconut oil in a bowl shape pan or our Kerala manchatty. After 4 or 5 minutes, add Red chilly powder and turmeric powder into it and stir it well for few seconds and add Kudampuly , 2 cup of water and the cleaned Fish into the pan. Stir it well , add salt and cook untill Fish become cooked and Finally add 1 spoon coconut oil and Curry leaves into the Fish Curry. If curry is too hot, then you can add 1/2 cup of Coconut Milk into the curry to balance it.

Fish curry is ready to serve with Rice
