Ingredients
450 grams boneless chicken, cut into 1½-inch piece
- 1/2 cup low fat yogurt
- 1-1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 packet Pepper and Spice Oats
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons any veg oil 'or'
- (Oil for frying - 11/2 cup)
- For Masala
- 4 dried red chillies
- 2 inches ginger
- Preparation
- Mix the yogurt, lemon juice, oats powder, salt and four tablespoons oil into the ground masala paste.
- Coat the chicken with the masala paste and marinate for an hour in a refrigerator
- Take a pan, fry the marinated chicken pieces in the hot oil. Take them out with Kannappa. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
- OR (we can make them in microwave)
- Place the chicken on a baking tray and put it in a pre-heated oven at 180º C for 10–15 minutes. Serve hot.
