Fried rice
1. Basmati Rice - 11/2 cup
2. Green peas - 1/2 cup
3. Spring onions - 10 No.s
4. Carrot - 2 No.s
5. Cabbage - 1 cup
6. Beans - 1/2 cup.
7. Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
8. Salt - Required quantity
9. Vanaspati (Dalda) - 3 or 4 teaspoon
10. Egg (Not necessary) - 2 nos.
11. Water - For cooking Rice : 10 - 15 cups
12. Soya sauce - 1/2 teaspoon
Preparation
Cook Basmati rice adding water 3 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon oil until fully cooked. Cut the vegetables in the form of long thin pieces. Heat 2 spoon of vanaspati in a frying pan. Add the vegetables and 1/2 a teaspoon salt and fry till half-cooked.Add soya sauce and mix it well. Add the cooked rice and mix well. Add salt if required, 1 teaspoon pepper powder, and 1/2 a teaspoon garam masala(if required). Keep in low heat for about 10 min, stirring once in a while. Remove from flame and serve hot with chilly pumpkin or chicken roast or chilly chicken.
