CARROT HALWA

Carrot Halwa
Ingredients
1. Milk : 1 ½ cup
2. Carrots (peeled and grated) : 1 cup
3. Sugar : ¾ cup
4. Ghee : 3 tsp
5. Cardamoms(pounded) : a few
6. Cashew nuts : 3 – 4 tsp
7. Raisins : a handful (optional)

Directions for Preparation
Boil the milk and carrots. Stir two or three times till all the milk has been absorbed. The timings vary depending on the moisture in the carrots. Add sugar to the hot carrot mixture. Stir vigorously. Add the ghee, cardamoms and half the nuts. Cook on high flame for few minutes and stir well once again. Pour into a serving dish. Garnish with the remaining nuts and raisins.
Serve it. Everybody will love it.
