Vanilla French Toast

Ingredients

1. 2 eggs

2. 1/2 cup 2% milk
3. 1 tablespoon sugar
4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5. Pinch salt
6. 6 slices day-old bread
7. Maple syrup or cinnamon-sugar

Directions for preparation

In a shallow bowl, beat eggs; add the milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Soak bread for 30 seconds on each side. Cook on a greased hot pan until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Serve with syrup or cinnamon-sugar. 

Children will like it.
