Vegetable Curry A simple and delicious side dish for Appam, Chappathi, Idiyappam. Vegetable curries and snacks became part of our daily menu. So try this Recipe and give your opinions
Ingredients:
1. Greenpeas : 1 cup(Keep 8 hrs. in water)
2. Carrot : 1 no.
3. Beans : 5 nos.
4. Potato : 3 nos
5. Big Onion : 3 medium sizes.
6. Ginger : 1 small piece
7. Garlic : 6 cloves
8. Any vegetable oil : 3 teaspoon
9. Red chilli powder : 11/2 teaspoon
10. Coriander powder : 21/2 teaspoon
11. Garam masala or meat masala : 2 teaspoon
12. Turmeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon
13. Salt to taste
14. Curry leaves : few
15. Coriander leaves : few
16. Coconut milk : 2 cup
Preparation :
Put greenpeas in water for 8 hours. Take all 1 to 7 ingredients( cut potato, carrot in square pieces,cut beans and other ingredients in small sizes)
and cook it in a cooker when two wistle may come.
Take a curved pan heat oil, add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and few curry leaves, mix well.
Immediately add cooked vegetables and stir it well. Cook for few seconds. Add salt.
Then add coconut milk, into it and boil it. Add garam masala or meat masala also. Turn off the gas. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
