Kurumulaku Rasam
1 . Black Pepper powder : 2 tablespoon
2. Garlic : 5 (no .s )
3.Small Cumin seeds : 3 tablespoon
4. coriander leaves : few
5. thamarind : 1 small ball
6 .Thuvaraparippu /Dal : 3 or 4 tablespoon

7 .salt : Required quantity
8 Turmeric Powder : Half spoon
9.Cumin seeds : 1 spoon
10. Curry Leaves : Required quantity
11. water :1 cup
Put Thuvaraparippu/Dal in the Cooker and cook it very well for 4 or 5 whistle. Beat it very well. Crush The cumin seeds, Garlic,coriander leaves well. Add this to pasted Dal. Add also black pepper powder. Put thamarind to 1/2 cup of water and stir it well and filter it. Add this water to dal and Boil it for few minutes. Add salt in required quantity.
For seasoning, heat coconut oil in a Pan over medium flame, add the Mustard seeds, Redd chillies and Curry leaves. Turn off the flame .Then add Turmeric powder. Immediately add 1spoon Boiled Rasam into the Pan and add this to Rasam.Stir it well. Immediately cover with a lid so that all the aroma stays in the curry.
Tasty Rasam is Ready .Serve with Rice and Pappadam
