Chakka Erisheri
1. Jackfruit : 1/2 Kilo ( Cut into small Pieces)
2. Coconut : 1 full
3. Red chillipowder : Teaspoon
4. Turmeric powder : 1/2 Teaspoon
5. Small Jeerakam (Cumin seeds) : 1 teaspoon
6 . Mustard : 1 teaspoon
7. Redchilli : 1 or 2 nos.
8. Salt : Required quantity
9. Curry leaves : Few
10.Cocunut oil : 3 tablespoon
Preparation
Cook pieces of jackfruit in 1 cup of water by adding Red chilli powder,Turmeric powder and salt. Take Half quantity of grated coconut and small jeerakam.Grind it in a mixie untill it become very pasty.Add this to cooked jackfruit and stir it well. After 2 minutes turn off the gas.Take a pan heat the coconut oil. add mustard seeds , red chilli and curry leaves to it.Then add another half quantity of grated coconut to the pan and stir it till it becomes brown.Turn off the gas and add browny coconut to the jackfruit mix and close it for few second. stir it before you eat jackfruit Erisheri
Chakka Erisheri is Ready to serve with Rice
