Potato Curry


1. Potato                           : 4 or 5 No.s

2. Big Onion                      : 2 No.s

3. Garlic                            : 5 or 6 clove

4. Ginger                           : 1 small piece

5. Coconut Milk                : 1 1/2 cup

6. Red chilly powder         : 1 teaspoon

7. Coriander powder         : 3 teaspoon

8. Meat masala                  : 2 teaspoon 

9. Turmeric powder         : 1/2 teaspoon

10. Salt                               : Required quantity

11.Coconut oil                    : 3 Teaspoon

12. Mustard                         : 1 teaspoon

13. Curry leaves,
       Coriander leaves        : few

14. Red chilly                      : 2 no.s


Preparation


                                Peel the covering of potato, clean it and cut it in squareshape pieces . Cut onion,ginger and garlic and add with potato pieces.cook this all in a cooker for 1 or 2 whistle.After few minutes, open the cooker, add coconut milk,chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and meat masala and stir it well. Add salt at required quantity.Cook for 1 or 2 minutes and turn off the gas.

For seasoning

             Take a small pan heat coconut oil then add mustard, 2 or 3 Red chilli and Curry leaves to it and put it into potato curry. Finally add coriander leaves .

Tasty Potato curry is ready to serve with appam, Idiyppam,Poori, chappathi and parotta
