Chettinadu Chicken fry

Ingredients

Pasting

1. Chicken : 1 kilo
2. Garlic : 6 cloves
3. Ginger : 1 piece
4. Fennel seeds & Cumin seeds: 1 spoon
5. Coriander powder, chilli powder& pepper powder: 1 spoon each
6. Grampoo(cloves), Elakka(cardamom): 2no each
7. Turmeric powder: 1/2 spoon

For frying

1. Bigonion : 2 now. Cut into long pieces
2. Ginger & garlic paste: 1 spoon
3. Red chilly : 4 now.
4. Curry leaves & any vegetable oil : required quantity

Preparation

Clean the chicken and cut it into small pieces. Add 2 spoon lemon juice , salt and turmeric powder to the cleaned chicken. Add pasted ingredients to the chicken and wait for 1 hour.

Take a rounded pan add oil and heat it. Then add onion, red chillies and curry leaves to it and fry it until onion become brown colour. Add chicken and cook it. Add few water if needed. When the chicken becomes fried well take it from the gas. Take another pan heat 2 spoon oil, add ginger - garlic paste and few onion pieces and fry until it becomes brown in colour. Then add this to the fried chicken and garnish it with curry leaves. Tasty Chicken chettinad fry is ready.
