Ullivada
Ingredients
1. Big onion : 2nos.
2. Kadala mavu ( Gram flour) : 1/2 cup
3. Rice powder : 2 - 4 spoon
4. Kayam(asafetida) : 2 or 3 pinch
5. Salt: required quantity
6. Red chilly powder: 1 spoon
7. Turmeric powder : 1/4 spoon
8. Water : 1/2 cup
9. Any vegetable oil : 2 cup for frying
Preparation
Cut onion pieces into longer pieces. Take a bowl and add 2 to 5 ingredients and mix it well by adding water slowly until it becomes paste. Then put the pieces of onion and mix it well with hand. Take a pinch of paste and taste it to check salt and hot. If necessary pls add. Take a bowl shape pan and heat the oil well. Then take a small quantity of vadamix in hand and put carefully to the oil . Repeat the process and they become shallow brown colour. Take it out and put it on a plate and serve with tomato sauce. Children will like it.pls try this
