CHILLI PUMPKIN



1. Pumpkin                    : 1/2 Kilo
2. Big Onion                  : 3 or 5 No.s

3  ginger                        : 1 Small piece

4. Garlic                        : 5 or 6 cloves

5 Vegetable
                 masala         : 50 gram

6 Maida                        : 1/2cup

7 Cornflour                   : 5 tablespoon

8. Salt                           : Required quantitiy

9. Any Vegetable Oil    : 2 cup
10. Tomato sauce        : 5 tablespoon
                                                                                      
11.Sugar                       : 1 tablespoon

12. Coriander Leaves   : few 

13.Egg (Water)             :1 No.(Few to make into thick paste)

14. Soya sauce            : 1 spoon
15. Turmeric powder    : 1/2 spoon
16. Capsicum               : 1 small

Cooking Method:

            Cut Pumpkin into small square pieces and wash it. Take a bowl put Maida, 4 tablespoon cornflour, 30 gram Vegetable masala, 1/2 spoon Turmeric powder, 1 egg(water),required quantity of Salt and make into paste. you can add few water if needed. Then add Pumpkin and mix well to cover it. Take a Pan and add vegetable oil and fry pumpkin pieces until it becomes Red and crispy.
        Cut Big onion, Garlic, Ginger into small pieces. Make a mix of 2 tablespoon cornflour in 1 cup of water and keep aside. Change the oil from the pan and  pour 4 tablespoon same oil to the pan and fry onion, ginger and garlic until it becomes golden brown. Add square pieces of capsicum.Fry again. Add 20 gram vegetable masala, salt, 1/2 spoon soya sauce and 2 Tablespoon Tomato sauce. Then add the above mix and stir it well. Cook it for a few seconds . Then add remaining 3 tablespoon sauce and 1 tablespoon sugar and mix it well and turn off the gas. Finally add coriander leaves and close the vessel for few seconds.

Chilly Pumpkin is ready to serve with chappathi, fried rice and parotta
