Pulyinchi
Ingredients
1. Ginger : 50 gm
2. Tamarind : 1 large ball
3. Jagerry( Sarkkara) : 1/2 of a ball.
4. Salt : required quantity
5. Mustard : 1 spoon
6. Red chilly : 3 now
7. Coconut oil : 3 spoon
8. Green chilly : 2 nos
9. Chilly powder : 1/2 spoon
10. Fenugreek : 1/4 spoon
11. Fried Rice : 2 - 4 spoon
Preparatione
Clean the ginger and cut it into very small (tiny) pieces. Take a bowl and add
11/2 cup of water and mix the tamarind in it and squeeze it to get tamarind water. Take a bowl shape pan and add oil and heat it. Then add ginger pieces and cutted green chillies and fry it for few minute. Then add chilly powder and mix it well. Then add tamarind water and cook for few minutes. Take a bowl and add 1/4 cup water and add sarkkara to it and mix it well and filter it. Add this sarkkara pavu to the cooked ginger. And cook for a while. Add 1 spoon salt.Take a pan heat 1 spoon of oil , add mustard, fenugreek, red chillies to it. Add this to the ginger mix. Take the same pan, fry the rice until it becomes shallow brown. Grind it in the mixer. It become soft powder. Add this to the ginger mix and stir it well. Taste it. If you want more sweat, add more jaggery to the ginger.
